Sierra Madre Police Blotters: April 9 – April 13

April 11

A report of a suspicious person in the 400 block of Madre Lane and possible theft of package. The person reporting stated she saw a maroon Toyota van parked on the east side of the street. The witness stated that she saw a woman exit the van not carrying a package, walk up to the house and knock on the door. The woman was then seen walking away from the house carrying a package, then drive off west on Old Ranch Road.

Pending more information from possible victim.

April 12

At about 7:42 a.m. officers were dispatched to the intersection of Grandview Ave. and Foothill Ave. regarding a traffic collision involving a deer. The driver was traveling east on Grandview Ave. when a deer jumped into the traffic lane and was struck by the vehicle causing damage to the windshield.

Pasadena Humane was called to the scene.

April 13

Officers conducted a traffic stop at about 11:55 a.m. on a motorcyclist for not wearing a helmet in the 3400 block of E. Foothill B!. After a wants/warrant check, it was determined that the rider had an outstanding warrant for his arrest from LAPD and was in possession of a reported lost/stolen credit card.

The rider was transported to Pasadena Jail for booking.
